In celebration of their new service to Los Angeles (LAX), JetBlue Airways has launched a Let the Music Play campaign with longstanding partner, VH1 Save The Music Foundation, mobilizing people all over the country to make a donation to support music education in public schools in Los Angeles, New York and Boston.
Donate today--JetBlue has pledged to match up to $30,000 of donations made through this campaign!
The VH1 Save the Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education programs in America's public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music education in America's public schools. Since 1997, VH1 Save The Music has provided $43 million worth of new musical instruments, donated to more than 1,600 public schools in more than 100 cities around the country and impacted the lives of more than 1.2 million public school students.
As a dedicated supporter of VH1 Save The Music since 2004, JetBlue has sponsored some of the Foundation's biggest events, which were attended by a multitude of musicians, film and television celebrities including Forest Whitaker, Gretchen Wilson, John Mayer, Jon Bon Jovi, Kelly Osbourne, Keri Washington, Mariah Carey, resident Beastie Boy DJ Mix Master Mike, Robin Thicke, Quincy Jones and many more. JetBlue's generous support has helped to underwrite the vital work of the Foundation.
